I'm Cam, and I run a solo garden-care round across Great Preston, Garforth, Kippax and Allerton Bywater, with a few gardens in Woodlesford now too. It's a weekend round, and kept that way on purpose.

Lawns are the heart of what I do — the cut, the edges, the feeding and the seasonal work that keeps the grass healthy underneath. But a garden is more than its lawn, so I also take on hedges, borders, and the general garden work that keeps a place looking cared for right through the year. If you'd like more looking after than the regular round, there are seasonal plans and lawn feeding too.

It's just me, every visit — the same person getting to know your garden, season to season. You'll always know who's turning up, and I'll always know your garden. That's the whole idea, and it's the thing I want to hold onto as I take on more.

The Work

Cultural practices, done right.

Natural methods, no harsh chemicals. Three strands of work, side by side: the regular round that keeps a lawn tidy through the season, the seasonal renovation that keeps it genuinely healthy, and the hedges, borders and garden work that look after everything else.

For a bigger one-off reset, there's a full autumn lawn renovation — scarifying, aerating, topdressing and overseeding in one September job, with only a limited number taken on each year.

More than the lawn

A garden isn't just its lawn, and I'm set up for the rest of it. Hedges cut and shaped, shrubs pruned at the right time of year for each plant, borders weeded and kept on top of, and the general jobs that pile up over a season — the kind of work that's easy to put off, and makes a real difference once it's done.

For lawns that want looking after through the whole year, I offer seasonal lawn care plans — weekly visits through the growing season, with cutting, edging, feeding and seasonal work handled as one programme.

And if it's just the feeding you're after, there's lawn feeding and a monthly seaweed feed — three well-timed feeds across the year, natural methods, no harsh chemicals.
